WHAT DOES A LIFE COACH DO?
Would you ask your plumber to make your wedding dress? Would you ask your Dad to colour your hair? Would you ask your barista to manage your finances? Not unless they were experts in those fields. So why does it seem normal to rely on our families, friends, and community members to help us achieve our very unique, authentic life goals?
A life coach is almost like a sculptor who can look at you and see the potential to achieve all that you desire. Through specific strategies and skills, the coach helps you define yourself and create the life you envision.
Coaches help you focus, provide direction, challenge you, support you, motivate you and celebrate with you. Life Coaches help you create a plan, detail action steps and hold you accountable for following through. They use skills that include observing, listening deeply, asking empowering questions, challenging and motivating.
Coaches do not counsel or analyse the past. Life Coaching is based on the principle that the client has the intrinsic ability to determine and achieve their goals. Everything is based on the present and what you want to achieve moving forward.
Three words can be used to describe what a life coach does:
Providing the tools and support for someone to broaden their perspective and open their mind, hence enabling them to reach their goals.
Empowerment is to a large extent down to the individual to realise their own self-worth and self-belief that has, for one reason or another, diminished.
Helping an individual going from where they are to where they want to be, in effect reaching their goal.
LIFE COACHING: WHAT TO EXPECT?
The first Life Coaching session will look to gain an overall perspective of someone's life, before identifying which area they seek to improve or are currently unhappy with.
The life coach and client will agree goals that during sessions will be broken down into more achievable objectives.
It is then down to the individual to go away with the techniques they have been taught and work on what has been agreed.
It is between sessions that the individual must possess the drive and focus to want to change.
This will be facilitated by the Life Coach who during the sessions will change how someone looks at both themselves and the rest of the world and in time a more positive thought process will be developed.
It is the alteration of their thought process combined with the desire to change and challenge themselves that will allow the individual to ultimately achieve their goals.
WHY SHOULD I HAVE A LIFE COACH?
As you learn how to create a life you desire and see actual results, you will develop a greater appreciation for life and those around you.
Your positive energy will influence how you relate to your loved ones. Your real-life results may inspire those around you to pursue their own goals. Your newfound energy, appreciation, and sense of responsibility will elevate the quality of your relationships. It will also mean that you remove the pressure you may have put on others to offer you advice, support, and accountability for your goals, so the time you spend with your loved ones can be focused on enjoying and truly appreciating each person exactly as they are. You start seeing them as unique individuals instead of people who owe you something or have denied you something.
In the process, you become stronger and more skilled at living a better quality of life.
It is no coincidence that the best athlete’s in the World have a coach that has helped them to reach their highest potential. They sculpt and shape those individuals into who they are. When we’re talking about playing a sport at the highest levels, we often know that there’s a coach embedded in there somewhere. But it’s not just in sports... If you want to reach your highest potential in life... you may need a Coach to get you get there.

RAPID CHANGE TECHNOLOGY (RCT)
RCT Coaches utilise a number of techniques within the coaching structure, with the purpose of aligning all of your internal and external resources towards a particular goal or outcome, enabling you to tap into your full potential.
A mix of discussion & questioning, activities, education and practical exercises using the techniques below are applied to ensure you are aligned with your goal, are crystal clear on what you want, and know how to get there.
NEURO LINGUISTIC PROGRAMMING (NLP)
NLP is the study of the mind and the way human beings communicate to themselves and others. By understanding how you communicate to yourself internally, we can start to rapidly change your behaviour to produce the best possible outcomes in your life.
TIME LINE THERAPY®
Time Line Therapy® uses a collection of techniques that allow you to gain emotional control over your life. Inappropriate emotional reactions, such as bursts of anger, periods of apathy, depression, sadness, anxiety, and chronic fear, are responsible for preventing people from achieving the quality of life they desire. Limiting decisions, such as “I’m not good enough,” “I’ll never be rich,” or “I don’t deserve a great marriage,” create false limitations and hamper your ability to create reachable and attainable goals and outcomes. Created by Dr. Tad James, Time Line Therapy® techniques enable you to eliminate many types of issues in your past, thus allowing you to move forward toward your goals and desires.
Contrary to some beliefs you are not "hypnotised" and under another's influence when hypnotherapy is being used. You are fully aware during the process, but are in a relaxed state so that you can utilise the enormously powerful influence of your unconscious mind.

Coaching days are:
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday morning by appointment, from 9am to 6pm.
All sessions are 60 minutes, in English or in French, and can be held in the following ways:
In person (Monday & Saturday morning in Maroubra ; Wednesday to Friday in Randwick)
Online via Zoom (similar to Skype) - inc. international clients
When a Package is purchased, sessions are held fortnightly.
This is to allow you time to process & practice what you are learning, & do any tasking that has been agreed.
